Plurk Toys

I have made a few plurk bots for the Plurk community. The bots so far publish information that may be useful or just plain fun. Here's what has been born so far:

@plurkquakes

my first plurk bot, it sends to plurk breaking world-wide earthquake information for any quake over magnitude 5.0. It uses the RSS feed from the US Geological Survey as its data source. Originally, I had it showing all M3.0+ quakes, but it was a bit too much.

@plurkstorms

based on @plurkquakes, the data feed for this one is from the National Weather Service and their Severe Weather forecasting group. It plurks out US severe weather forecasts as they become available.

@plurknigel

I admit it - I am still lost in the 80's and listen to Radio Nigel a lot of hours a day. So, this bot plurks out every time a new song is played.

Scroll down to the see the last few plurks from each of these bots. If you like 'em, please friend or fan them (helps the karma!) as well as doing likewise for me - @jimatwcu. If you have any ideas for a bot, please plurk me! I do enjoy coding them!
