Live Scanner Radio Feeds Up

|
Snowy days are great days for moving web sites. No real reason to go out and shovel yet since it is still snowing heavily. In the meanwhile, the first of my other web sites that is coming over here is one that has been up for several years under the chescoradio.audio-stream.net domain name. It is now located at metzger.ws/radio. For the uninitiated, the audio streams that are hosted are live fire and rescue radio calls from Chester County, PA and the surrounding counties. It has been a very popular web site especially with volunteer firefighters and EMT's because it enables them to listen in on calls in progress even when they are away from the area. On a day like today, there are numerous calls for vehicle accidents as well as the usual inuries associated with snow removal. If you have never listened before, give it a try. All that is required is software to listen to MP3 streams, such as WinAmp or RealPlayer. And, as always, thanks to the countless volunteers who give their time and energy at fire companies and rescue squads here and around the world.
