Internet
The father of the Internet at the keyboard.

You must live in a tree if you have never heard of the Internet. Even though Al Gore claims to have invented it, I actually remember my first experience with being connected. It was nothing fancy. In fact it was on a Teletype ASR33. It was in the early 1970's in an academic environment where, along with several students and professors, we witnessed a scientific experiment taking place on the West Coast. Granted it was just a stream of numbers coming across ARPANET, but it was realtime, even if at only 110 baud! That's 110 bits per second... by comparison to today's high speed gigabit networks, it was very slow.

This section of the web site is devoted to stuff I am working on and experimenting with related to the Internet - web site development, scripting, graphics, you name it. I hope that you will find at least some of the material interesting. Personally, it is a notebook for me to keep track, a record, of what I am finding. Hope you enjoy it and find it useful too!

Ajax!
I am currently working on a major rewrite of a web site and I wanted to incorporate some Web 2.0 effects. Enter my exploration of Ajax and other glitzy, yet functional elements of web design. (Section coming soon!)
