Whoa! Repubican Honesty?

I guess the Chester County GOP doesn't vet what their candidate for the 19th Senatorial District race puts on his web site very closely or maybe they are finally realizing the true (lack of) quality of their party's (s)elected candidates.

Steve Kantrowitz, on his web site's The Admiral's Blog, quotes an article from a conservative blog that quite aptly describes the special election in '06 that put State Senator Andy Dinniman (by a landslide) into office.

The 19th Senate District has always been Republican territory but the combination of a well-known, well-liked Democrat (Dinniman, who served many years as a Chester County commissioner) and a mediocre Republican candidate (fellow county commissioner Carol Aichele) tipped the scales.

The Chester County GOP sleepwalked through the 2006 campaign and lost a seat that the party should have held.

Factual reporting on a GOP web site - what is the world coming to?
